A quick cache n dash just along the road from The Red Moss Truck Stop and overlooks the Red Moss itself. On the southbound side of the road but it is on a very long corner.
This is a quick cache n dash located just along the road from the Red Moss Truck Stop on the B7078 or the old A74. It is a small clip lock box. This cache contains a pencil. It is near the site of an old emergency phone at the roadside. This is part of a series on the Old A74 running from Beattock to Douglas. Parking is beside GZ or along the road at the coal loading point for Glentaggart Open Cast. This box has room for small trades and trackables. This box is a great place for trackables if you want them taken some distance. To combat the problem of water-logging, I have made this a double containered cache. The cache is now located under a slab, please replace this slab carefuully to avoid breaking the outer container and make sure that the grass at the side of the cache is hiding the cache also.
