Denne lille fine plads er lavet som en erstatning for det gamle busskur, der ellers har stået lidt nærmere Ibskervejen i umindelige tider.
Pladsen er opkaldt efter Rie og Niels Wilhelm Kofoed, som har lagt jord til denne lille plads.
Pladsen har et flot bord/bænkesæt hvor madpakken kan indtages, mens udsigten ud over det næsten ørkenlignende Ibskerlandskab nydes.
