For cachers who have lived in the Atlanta area for a while, the Clermont conjures up images of good friends, good music, and utter madness. Take no prisoners, take no pictures, deeply memorable weirdness.
Over the years this venerable cultural establishment has, when not being closed down by the City, been visited, oddly appreciated by the likes of Marilyn Manson, Ashton Kutcher, Kid Rock, The Rolling Stones, Jason Isbell , Anthony Bourdain, Robert DeNiro, Trent Reznor, Lady Gaga, Alton Brown and many more who ought to know better.
Like maybe, just maybe, you.
Over the years its been a favorite Moiety nightcap
Mr. Moiety has played in a number of questionable bands there, on that sweaty, famous, humbling, fragrant stage At one time he lived a pretty care-free fun-packed life just down the street.
That's all we're going to say about that.
Let's just say that if anthropology is your thing, there's no better people-watching perch on the planet. It truly is The Greatest Show on Earth. No cameras or phone pictures. Srsly, you'll get tossed.
This Atlanta landmark needed a cache... and here it is. Use stealth as even during high noon the area is interestingly populated.
