Viewy of Wainui(Wellington) Traditional Cache

Starting at the bottom of a well known walking track just across from Wainui BP the hunt for this cache will take you along a scenic bush walk that offers a splendid view of the Valley from a different angle. Plenty of fantails and other birds as well as rabbits.

The track leading to the GZ is very slippery after rain so decent walking shoes are a must. The track gets very steep just before the cache so probably not recommended for the Geokids. Also watch out for mountain bikers and keep to the left of the track The cache itself is a 30mL pill container containing a log book and is placed in an obvious location just off the track. Beware of the cutting grass! Please bring your own pen to sign the logbook :)
