Geocache Description:

Camo'ed small square container in the garden outside the entrance gates to the Western and Atlantic Railroad Tunnel.

Like all caches on the Tunnel Hill Heritage Center and Battlefield lands, this cache should be hunted only by DAYLIGHT!

Park at the Heritage Center and Museum, or drive across the wooden one-lane bridge and park in the designated spot between two rose gardens.  These gardens are outside the entrance gates into the Western and Atlantic Tunnel, and you do NOT have to take a tour to reach this garden and this cache; it is on public access section.   (We do recommend taking the tunnel tour after you log the cache though!) wink

'We never promised you a rose garden' -- but we do promise a camo'ed lock 'n lock will be waiting very near the roses in this garden.    Please note stealth and speed will be required.  Speaking of tours, do not seek this while on a tour or while others on a tour are passing by the little rose garden.  You do not have to risk harming any of the beautiful hardy roses growing here to find this cache...  ≈

Placed with permission of the Tunnel Hill Heritage Center. Daylight hunting only; please do not hunt after twilight. It is not required to enter the museum or pay admission.
