Geocache Description:

The 'Pawtuckaway for the Laid Back Cacher”is a new and slightly improved version of the “Chilling on the Lake” series.
Therefore: no portage, no white water rapids, no necessity of leaving your water craft to scramble through thorns, poison ivy, fallen tree hurdles, bug infested swamps and other nasty things.
Pick any beautiful day in Spring, Summer or Fall, take plenty of water, food, sun screen, maybe even a 'noodle' and a towel, and practice being a “Laid Back Cacher”.
Listen for loons, maybe you'll see Mama- and Papa-loon keeping ever-watchful eyes on the Baby loons.
Look for fish jumping, look up and determine whether the big, majestic-looking bird up there is a turkey vulture or an eagle (both make their home in this park).
Exchange friendly greetings with other paddlers who seem to be in no greater hurry than you.....

When we placed these first ten caches, the water level was unusually high. That means you often will have to crouch under overhanging branches of mostly evergreens.
As the water level gets lower, (especially in late Fall), a little stretching may be necessary, and we cannot always guarantee a flawless approach.

For those hardy souls who walk on water in the Winter, we have no advice, only unbridled admiration.

But whatever your caching goals, we hope sincerely that you enjoy this beautiful piece of nature.
