This charming library has only been in existence since October 2011, however, its shelves are overflowing with goodies to be checked out. Alida Givens was the original director and she spearheaded the establishment of this wonderful library.
Magnolia Springs Public Library’s “claim to fame” is their very unique “Seed Lending Library”. You simply go in and choose seeds from their wonderful collection (housed in a real old-fashioned wooden card catalog), log in the seeds you take, and when you harvest seeds from your plants you are asked to bring some to the library to replace what you took. Having a plant that does not quite make it will not be held against you, however. If you get the chance, you should see what it is all about!

Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday – Noon to 4 PM
Thursday – Noon to 5 PM
Saturday – 10 AM to Noon
