Scenic Yachats #26 – Top Of The Hill Traditional Cache

The Central Oregon Coast is home to Yachats, Gem of the Oregon Coast with great walking, hiking, biking, scenic, and historical sites. Filling in a passport with 20 passwords from 26 possible caches will earn you the Yachats Geocoin , a beautiful coin designed by ThunderingRocks.

You are now on one of the high points of Cape Ridge at 1,400 ft. Off to the north is the highest point of 1,947 ft. where you see an antenna for the Oregon Wireless Interoperability Network. This is a repeater for the network which is for emergency and law enforcement responders at all levels. It is about a 400 ft. gain from Golden Gate. Yes it is up there!
