Geocache Description:

Bonnet Bay Bash – series I have placed a series of 10 caches around the shores of Bonnet Bay and Woronora which can be visited by canoe or, with the exception of one or two, by foot. Either way, the paddle or stroll is designed to take you to an area that I love and to provide a great way to get some exercise and enjoy nature for a few hours. No puzzles or pesky nano/micros here. Just straight-forward finds and paddling/waddling pleasure. Enjoy!

After enjoying finding geocaches for a few months now, I thought it was time I got up to the plate and started with my first hide.

Accessible from either the Woronora side (Jannali Reserve) or from Bonnet Bay, at the end of Washington Drive, this cache brings you to the home of the Bonnet Bay Beavers.

The original cache container has been replaced with a test tube size container which holds a log and pen.

The pitches can be busy with games at times or quite deserted with just the usual dog walkers.

The location is between two boat ramps and close to the river if you are crusing or paddling past.

Hope you enjoy your trip to Bonnet Bay.
