The nearby town is Gardiner. The nearby river flowing into the Yellowstone is the Gardner. They are named for Johnson Gardner, a rough 'ole mountain man of the region who could neither read nor write. Folks in the area did his writing for him and spelled his name two different ways. Mr Gardiner/Gardner could care less. He spent his life trapping beaver and avoiding Indians. Welcome to Gardiner ... the town.
The hide is in a tight 'lil niche. TOTT will be necessary. Be sure to bring a scribble stick. An ample sized parking area is a short stroll away. Beware of the busy highway.
