Geocache Description:

Shhh, Can you hear the whispers of Dugualla Bay?

You will be headed for the "Big Tree" where you will be sure to hear the whispers if you're real quiet!

After climbing gently about a half-mile through an open forest, you'll come to the first trail junction; Keep right at this junction and head for the beach. You can also opt for the more challenging Big Tree trail. You'll enter a denser, older forest with some good-sized firs and begin to descend. A giant Douglas fir (marked Big Tree on the map) looms on the left next to the trail.

THE BIG TREE AREA IS THE FINAL CACHE LOCATION.

After the huge tree, the trail descends more steeply toward the beach (watch your footing after rains, as the trail may be slippery, and has eroded to expose some old rebar in spots). You'll emerge onto an east-facing cobble beach with some mud flats and sandbars — try to time your visit for low tide to reach the beach at its greatest exposure to be able to walk for a bit.

(((The cache is a couple of steps off trail, no bushwhacking, please hide as you found it.)))
