The Necronomicache! Not for the faint of heart! We love the macabre, and we're incorporating this into the theme of this cache. Warning: if you have small children with you, you might want to find the cache yourself before deciding if it's appropriate for your kiddos. I dabble in special fx makeup and did just that for this cache to fit the name properly. (I have 3 children myself from ages 3 to 11 and it wasn't even close to scaring them). There are all sorts of horror-themed swag items, FTF gets the first pick! We hid this on GoldenSpatula's birthday, the first couple pages are just birthday wishes from our fellow cachers that helped us to hide it.
A short 5-10 minute walk from the bike trail if you start at the Kroger's parking lot. An easier find for the experienced cacher. We wanted so bad to hide this in a more interesting spot, and searched all week, but every good spot was too close to the RR tracks so we've settled for this. Hopefully the uniqueness of this cache will compensate for the lack of originality in hiding spots.
The lid is somewhat trying to remove, so you might wanna eat your Wheaties =)
We live very close to this cache and will be able to check on it very frequently.
You may run across the occasional muggle, but as it's the end of the trail, they'll soon pass by. A very liw muggle area for what it is. A bike trail. We live very close and frequent this trail 3-5 times a week.
If you find this cache, please help keep it concealed!
Also, if you take sweet swag, leave some! Candy wrappers and broken hotel cards just aren't fun.
