This was as far as we know to be an Avenue of Honour for Pets but didn 't seem to take off. This was also done by the Rotary Club of Melton.
My husband grew up with a German Shephard called "Kaiser", meaning "King" in German. Our children grew up with "Missy" a Maltese x Pomeranium, she was a cheekly little girl along with "Puddles" a Poodle x Pomeranium, he was a very intelligent boy. Our children did not get the privilige to meet "Kaiser" as he had passed away before they came along but they sure made up for that with "Missy and "Puddles" having hairclips and ribbons all over them all the time and painted toenails. They just loved the children and the children loved them.
I grew up with "Sandy" a Pomeranium, she lived to the good old age of 19. My children didn't get to meet "Sandy" but "Sandy" grew old with with her best mate "Shelly" a Sheltie. They had a great life with my parents.
"SANDY" was forgotten on this plaque but not for this cache.
There is safe car parking in Sherwin Crt or off the side of the main road.
PLEASE DO NOT DRIVE 4X4's RIGHT UP TO THE CACHE.
