MARC The Spot Traditional Cache

Cache is located in the parking lot of the Germantown Train Station.  Please place Cache exactly as found and be gentle with it. I had fun creating this container.

The B & O Railroad used to function on these rails and make stops from Baltimore to Ohio until the rail company dissolved. CSX now based out of Florida has ownership and management of the rails. During the week commuters will board from Germantown in the AM for a route towards Washington D.C. and PM for Martinsburg, W.V. making stops in between then ending at Union Station(DC)/Martinsburg(WV)/Frederick(MD)/Brunswick(MD). MARC functions under the management of MTA and Bombardier Transportation. On weekends a Capitol Heights rail can be road to Cumberland, MD.

The station was designed by Ephraim Francis Baldwin and was burned down in 1978. After retaining the area it was rebuilt and purposed for MARC train service to D.C. The station is modeled after the original design. The container was brought from one of my favorite views of Ocean City Maryland. I thought it would be neat to "host" a geocache with it so I made one. The cache is located in the parking lot in the back. This cache contains a log only.
