Geocache Description:

This is a park and grab, if you park on the shoulder. Safer parking is usually close by in a seldom used ‘driveway’ Because this road is new, there is not a lot of cover, so make allowances for muggles. There's lots of 18 wheelers.

Texas State Highway Loop 79 in Del Rio, Val Verde County, Texas is a two lane, but four lane wide road known as a Super Two. Loop opened for traffic in Mid-May 2012. It connects with U.S. Route 90, U.S. Route 277, U.S. Route 377, and runs next to Laughlin Air Force Base near its southern terminus. The Loop is part of the Ports to Plain Interstate Corridor Infrastructure that runs from Laredo, Texas to Denver, Colorado. It's expected to create an economic boom that will bring in national brand hotel, retail and restaurant outlets. Length: 12 miles Designated as Val Verde County Judge Mike Fernandez Loop
