I was out camping at Loon Lake and could not believe that this lake did not have a cache. I just happened to have one in the trailer so I thought why not put one out. Loon Lake is a beautiful camping spot. Lots of Loons, birds and flowers. The water is great for swimming or just floating around on. The cache is located along a trail that runs along the lake and can be accessed from the day use area or if you happen to be camping it can be accessed from the campground too.
To get to the cache turn right off the highway at Grasmere head past the Elementary School and make another right. Then follow the signs to Loon Lake.
