We're trying to place a few more caches in one of our favorite areas, the Blacktail Mountain road. This one, like the name suggests, is hanging in a tree, but possibly not where you might think. It still should be an easy cache, though. You have to go around the fence that is across the road, but you are on public lands. The fence was installed years ago when the Air Force was using this road as an access point to a water pumping station for its operations on Blacktail Mountain when the radar station was in use. The fence still remains but those operations are long gone. Enjoy the scenery and little bit of history that remains in this spot.
