These caches where placed by the scouts at 1St Elburton scout troop as part of there navigation training to help them understand gps devices and coordintes, they contain various scout badges, a log book and pen, the badges are intended as swappables with other scouts but feel free to swap with something suitable. when you log cache as found please dont put tftc, leave a short message to the scouts and i will relay it to them.
1st Elburton scouts is a very active scout troop within the plymstock district. our troop has been running for over eighty years and has had the pleasure of helping thousands of young people gain the neccesary skills to help them through there adult life, and encourage them to explore and protect the environment around them, yes scouts have been eco friendly for over one hundred years. we meet on a Monday evening during term time at the Elburton methodist church. we sighted these caches here as we run many an activity here, navigation excersises, wide games, tent building and sometimes just to enjoy and learn about the flora anf fauna that exists on our doorstep. we ask one thing please leave this place tidier than you found it. in other words CACHE IN TRASH OUT!!
