Geocache Description:

This cache follows on from River Don Walk cache.  A path follows the river, eventually taking you to the cache area which is beyond the fisherman's hut.

The area can be muddy in winter and if walking from River Don Walk cache, it may be necessary to walk along the silghtly higher path for a wee while depending on the height of the river.  It's usually ok in summer.

The walk is on flat ground, but uneven in places and will take less than an hour round trip.  It's great for dogs with plenty of access areas to the water.

Cache is away from the hut as it can be busy there with fishermen, but also youngsters, depending on the weather.  Path is rarely busy beyond the hut.  You can walk on from cache site, but the path becomes more uneven and overgrown.

Parking is up on St. James' place, same as for River Don Walk cache. I have however added a closer parking waypoint where the fishermen park if you don't fancy the walk from River Don Walk cache.  It is up on the country road and you walk down through the field from a gate near parking.  (Unfortunately this road is closed from July 8th 2013 for 8 weeks for pipelaying/roadworks.  I managed to gain access to this road late afternoon with no workmen about)

Cache is very well camouflaged in it's surroundings

Large size but classed as micro ;) No room for swaps. Take your own pen please.
