The Tono Valley is a distinctly rural place, with some old farmhouses still surviving today. If you want to get a truly nostalgic taste of times gone by, head to Tono Furusato-Mura, Tono's largest folk village. Here you will find a collection of traditional farm buildings, restaurants, an old waterwheel and a folk-craft gallery. There are even some horses to add to the authenticity! You can enter the buildings and look around to get an idea of how people used to live here. Admission to the village costs Y520 for adults.
The cache is a small plastic container. It is hidden outside of the village area, so you don't have to pay the entrance fee to find it. As you walk up the path from the carpark, to your left you'll pass a grassy area. Could the cache be around here?!
