Welcome to Marlborough Road Cemetery Chapel. With breath taking sea views, the cemetery is 8.88 acres in size and came into operation in 1926, with the first burial taking place 22 April 1926. From the bench on the side of the chapel it is possible to watch all of Ilfracombe Town's home matches for free! With traditional Monterey pine trees, drifts of daffodils March/April and sustainable landscape maintenance, the cemetery is made up of 22 blocks which comprise of the following style plots: traditional, lawn memorial, cremation and child.
