Geocache Description:

First up is a tiny little cache near a footpath sign that sprang up overnight between my placing this cache and writing the description. You may need tweezers here, and you will need a pencil. From here, you will head through pasture towards the second cache.

This is another series of caches that I have placed on the by-ways and footpaths of Stanton-by-Dale. If you’ve never visited the village before you probably could now do a whole day’s caching and get a couple of dozen done. If I can, I will get round to linking them up one day. This series is close to Dale Road and should take no more than 2 hours even allowing for caching time and children. There are two sections on Dale Road itself, and whilst it is generally a very quiet road, it is busy at school-run times of the day so keep small ones on a lead. I would be inclined to park up in the village somewhere (being respectful to locals please – few of us have the luxury of off-road parking), and head up towards the playground, promising children some time on the swings after they complete the series! I hope you enjoy them all. The caches themselves are a mixture of micros, some regular caches and hopefully at least one or two that will challenge you physically and mentally.
