Coming from Alesso drive in the direction of Avasinis, about 170m after you cross the bridge of Torrente Leale turn right just after a house and follow the narrow sand-road over a ford to the parking coordinates.
Follow the trail to the first nice bathing pool below a flood protection dam and cross the river at this point (depending on the water level you might get wet feet). A trail leads you to the upper rim of the dam where you can enter the gravel bed of the river. Follow the river upwards until you reach the exit of the canyon (depending on waterlevel and gravel you might have to wade though the water at places).
The actual path starts to the right (WP T1), just where the rockface meets the water. Follow the good trail upwards - keep right at the first fork (the left path leads down into the canyon). When you reach a big rock inside a little valley stay left, don't go upwards (WP T2). From this point on you can't miss the trail which traverses high above the canyon, exposed in parts. At the upper end of the canyon you can climb down to the creek bed again. The cache is hidden downriver from this point. Descend on the left bank until you reach the beginning of the canyon. The cache is hidden at the base of a small tree on a ledge above the river.
In summer there are tons of great pools on the way up, Riu dal Boschet is especially warm while Torrente Leale is a bit colder. The locals frequent the lower pools, at the cache area you should be alone. Don't forget your bathing gear. You'll need your hands for the short climb to the flood protection dam and the path above the canyon is exposed in parts. Bad satellite reception so take the spoiler photos with you. Time needed: 1.5-2h
Torrente Leale is also a great canyoning trip - more info here: AIC
