We know this house was constantly looted after his death because it was a strategic 'lookout' and had immense views of the sea and any unwary Boats that came too close. It is certain that treasure existed and was stored here. The local population was incredulous that they could not find much of the Treasure. (Apparently he kept a chest in his bedroom and a padlocked 'trunk' in the which he kept documents, valuables and money). His will stated and listed, Many things of hammered silver, gold, pearls and valuable stones, china, rich fabrics and frames, adding that all had been catalogued in a book wrapped with parchment and marked with the letter D ... (of unknown whereabouts). Only a a small part of this treasure has ever been found.
He has been quoted as saying "That he could see his Treasure from His Bedroom Window"..... This may mean that he thought the sea was his "Treasure" or The Church that he donated to the village after his conversion to a more deep rooted Catholocism due to his relationship with a Nun.
Visit his House in an effort to locate his Treasure (or at least part of it) For my part, I have failed miserably, during multiple attempts.... but instead of bringing various tools away each day..... I have left them there. So, Start at the above coordinates, in the centre of the house where you will find some tools hidden. You are welcome to use them if you feel they are of any use. The first tool you will find at the above coordinates. Also, some of my notes.
Beware this Rascal was as 'Cunning as a Fox'....There is a 'Final Twist' Do not ignore it as it is part of the Rules of the game!
Also, Look out for traps... as He kept Slaves down a hole.... that you cannot get out of.
You have been warned !!!
