This is our second cache (thanks to TM). It has been placed under the remains of the last bridge on the Vale of Clwyd line before Denbigh station. The cache is in a camouflaged plastic box with the original Daughter cache container inside (due to frequent animal attacks on the bags originally used). It is typical of Team Marzipan Cache containers - completely bonkers! You will still need a pen and a pair of tweezers. Originally TM made the cache with a 50:50 chance of finding the log. Sadly due to wear and tear there is only the one option now although we have managed to save the wonderful housing for the log container. Please only open the log container itself and put the log back in its tube after signing. There is now room for swaps and TBs if cachers would like to leave them
The cache is down a narrow lane between the Rhyl and Bodfari roads not far from the roundabout and there is a place to stop if driving there. There is a geo-trail (of sorts) to the cache hiding place. We would recommend good shoes. Please replace the cache as found. At school run times this lane is occasionally used as a rat-run.
Team Marzipan's "The Mother Cache" (GC15RYZ) has been placed to celebrate their 100th cache hide. The object of The Mother Cache is for finders to take one of the ready-made caches to hide it as a Daughter Cache. This cache is our contribution. Many thanks to Team Marzipan for their considerable contribution to the sport and for this excellent idea (and the nettle stings! ).
Congratulations to Team Jones bodnant for the FTF
