Geocache Description:

I love reading and the public library so I wanted to create a cache to honor that. But also, I love cats. How to mix the two? With my favorite book series, The Cat Who… series by L.J. Braun. These books are murder mystery books and features a reporter named Jim Qwilleran and his Siamese cats Koko and Yum-Yum. Koko has a sixth sense and often helps Qwilleran solve many of the cases that they come upon. This series started in 1966 and wrapped up in 2007 for a total of 29 novels.

The Cat Who Sang for the Birds was selected because of the location of this geocache. This is a great series that can be read in any order, although you will get to know the characters much better if you read it from the beginning. If you don’t think this book series sounds interesting, check out another book at the Helena Public Library on your way back out!

This is just a traditional cache. It has a log book and a pen. There are also a few swag items. Please be aware that there is poison oak (at least I think it is) all throughout the area. This cache is placed inside a park which is closed overnight. (Note: It's not at the library)

First to find honors for DrDFrid!
