About seven miles up Yachats River Road, there is a right turn onto USFG 5590 that leads to a small Recreation Site called Keller Creek. It is on Cannibal Mountain and the creek is another one named after an early settler family. The closest historical village site was Euclid, about 1.61 miles away on the River Road. Other than a few houses in the area the only notable "building" is the old Yachats Grange.
At one time there was a red hand water pump in the park. However, in the last 3-4 years it has been closed off because of some vandalism in the park. There have been three caches in this park area and they have all succumbed to being muggled!
If you are trying to complete the Scenic Yachats tour to earn the Yachats Geocoin make sure you record the password on this inside cover of the cache. The Passport can be viewed and printed at goyachats.com/Geocaching. See GC4FTEN for details.
You are looking for a 2x2 lock-n-lock. The cords are a little squirrelly due to tree cover and the surrounding hills. Please re-hide carefully as the three previous caches in this park were lost.
