To kick off the geocaching month long streak, I am hosting a flashmob to show off your current milestone or find total.
This event will be at the Time and Temp Sign in front of the PS Bank on Route 6 in Wysox. Please park in the grocery store parking lot near the posted parking coordinates, not in the bank parking lot.
As this is a flashmob here is the timeline for the event
Prior to 6 PM - arrive in the area but don't go to the spot until 6pm
6:00 PM - PaddleAway will place an opened geocache container (log sheet container) at "ground zero". This is the signal that the event is starting. You need to have a piece of paper with your caching name already written on it. When the Bucket is placed at GZ, you will drop your paper with your caching name on it, into the bucket. The names that are in the bucket will be used for a drawing, so make sure yours is in there and legible! It will also be used to keep track of the geocachers that have attended, in lieu of a log sheet, to speed up the sign in process. Please do not arrive at GZ early! If you are there, sit in your car, visit a local store, but foremost, act like a muggle until the time arrives.
6:05 PM - A quick drawing will be held by using the names in the bucket. The winner will receive an unactivated TB!
6:10 PM - Line up for a picture. You are welcome and encouraged to bring a sign with your current find count or last milestone to hold up for the picture.
6:13 PM - Group Picture
6:15 PM - Scatter
Bringing a sign and being in the picture are optional though encouraged.
Take note that this event will take place outdoors. Please dress accordingly.
