GORDON- Chesterfield County “The Series”
The GORDON community has approximately 9,510 people and there are approximately 3,199 single-family homes and 170 multi-family units within its boundaries. The GORDON community’s boundaries are Midlothian Tnpk to the north, Falling Creek and the MIDLOTHIAN community to the west, Courthouse Rd to the east and Powhite Pkwy to the south. Smoketree, Stonehenge and Exbury are some of the subdivisions within its boundaries. Lucks lane Shopping Center, Stonehenge Country Club, Forest View Rescue Squad, Gordon Elementary and Monacan High School are all within the community. GORDON has one county park which is the Monacan Athletic Complex. The GORDON community has a lower than average call rate for police, fire and EMS and has the lowest rate countywide for both fire and EMS. The traffic crash rate is also lower than the countywide rate.
