Geocache Description:

A geocache along the Great Glacier Trail.

The toe of the glacier reached down to this point in 1887, according to photo evidence and field research.   Visitors to Glacier House could follow the trail to this point to touch the ice and explore the snout of the Illecillewaet Glacier.
