BigChiefS4's Ultimate Date Placed Challenge
Cache is at the posted coordinates but there are additional requirements that must be met!
The requirement of this challenge is to find, or to have found, 366 caches, one for each day of the year according to the date it was placed. Thus you need to find a cache that was placed on January 1st, one that was placed on January 2nd, and so on, for all days of each month for all 12 months of the year.
1. What counts and what doesn't? Unlike the Minnesota monthly challenges (listed below), all cache types count.
2. Do I have to find a cache that was placed on February 29th? Yes
3. Can I count caches found anywhere in the world? Yes, all finds count from any state and any country.
4. Do prior finds count? Yes.
5. How can I easily obtain the placements dates of caches I've found? One way is to scan the "All Cache Finds" list for your profile.
6. How do I find caches according to their placement date? One way is to scan through caches listed for Minnesota (or any other state you have finds in). These are arranged by placement date. You might need to go back through the years. GSAK will be VERY helpful in obtaining this information.
7. What if I have more questions? Just ask. Anything significant that's been overlooked will be listed and dated here.
8. What are the logging requirements? There are a number of ways to complete this challenge:
a. You can list all 366 caches that were placed on each day of the year (including February 29th).
b. You can provide screen shots from GSAK.
c. Create a bookmark list of all 366 caches and a note of the date placed on each cache.
d. Geocaching.com's sister site Project-GC has this information readily available. On the Finds tab, there is a section called Finds by Hidden Date. Provide a screen shot of this section that shows all 366 blocks filled in.
e. For Minnesota cachers, you can find and log the following monthly challenges. List these 12 caches and the date you found them.
