Make sure you are fit enough to complete your chosen walk in the available time as the moorland is very rough.
Remember, boots are essential and you are responsible for your own safety.
Always carry a map and compass, plus a survival bag, torch, whistle and small first aid kit. Also enough food plus emergency rations.
Know where you are going on the route and follow the route on your map / GPS.
If you are in a group always stay together and never split up.
Remember cold temperatures will reduce the life of you batteries in a GPS.
Leave a copy of your route with a responsible Person.
Watch out for the Culicoides impunctatus, when they are in season.
There are sheep on the moorland please keep dogs on leads.

The cache GZ
The cache is small Lock & Lock 180 ml container with a log book and pencil. It is located on a small slope overlooking Loch Eisg about 35 metres from the edge of the loch.
