This will be a great opertunity to meet up with other cachers and share caching stories, talk through ideas and get tips and hints. Often you will have seen names on a log before yours and now you will be able to put a face to the name.
The theme for the night will be travel bugs and anyone is welcome to come along and Swap, Discover or Drop off trackables. There will be a cache style container to place them in or log them as visited.
Keep an eye out for my Souvenir series of caches that will hopefully be published to help you all with collecting the Souviners that are being awarded this month. August is being celebrated by geocachers around the world as the “31 Days of Geocaching.” Find a geocache, log a “Found it” (or an “Attended” for an Event Cache) and earn a unique calendar-style Geocaching souvenir for each day in August. That’s 31 souvenirs up for grabs
