The Ivy Tree is a cache in a mini forest down at the Alderman Tommy Patton Memorial Park. The co-ordinates might not be very exact so follow the directions so you can easily find the cache. This is my first cache I've hidden so I hope you like it!
The cache is a 1.5 litre capacity transparent tupperware box containing a logbook, a pen and some swaps such as toy cars, keyrings, colouring pencils, bouncy balls etc. To get to the cache simply enter through the main entrance on Holywood Road and immediately turn right. Once you come to the corner of the park turn left so the football pitch is to your right. Keep on walking until you reach a bench. Turn to your left so you are now facing the church spire in the distance and your back is to the football pitch. Take about 25 normal steps so you are roughly half way down the mini forest on your left. Turn left and walk into the mini forest. Soon you will come across some trees covered in ivy. Decode the hint and it will help you from now on. Happy Geocaching!
