Lego Crew’s fine series on the Campaign Trail
covered all the major and minute fine points of the presidential political scene. Well, almost all.
A stalking horse in politics is a person who works undercover or disguise to undermine, challenge or diminish a leading third person on behalf of another aspiring candidate who wants to remain unknown to the leading person and their followers. If the attack works and the “unknown” wins then the “unknown” can be the benefactor. If the attack fails then the stalking horse gets the blame and the “unknown” escapes without becoming “known” . A permit to place this Geocache is on file with the Johnson County Conservation Department.
