Geocache Description:

This is the fifth cache in a series of caches that will have taken you around the catchment area of the River Leven, a tributary of the Tees.

The co-ordinates will take you to a suggested parking place which will take one or two cars (at a pinch). The cache is a short distance away.

The caches were designed to be done in the order below and each one will involve solving a Sudoku puzzle to be able to obtain the correct coordinates. As you progress through the challenge the puzzles will become more difficult.

1.A Beck Sudoku Challenge 1 - Broughton Beck
2.A Beck Sudoku Challenge 2 - Ingleby Beck
3. A Beck Sudoku Challenge 3 - Alum Beck
4. A Beck Sudoku Challenge 4 - Potto Beck
5. A Beck Sudoku Challenge 5 - River Leven
6. A Beck Sudoku Challenge 6 - Coldpool Beck

In order to find this cache, you will have had to solve the sudoku puzzle found inside the Potto Beck cache, or from this page, and insert the appropriate figures into the coordinates below:

Cache location at :
N 54° (D2)(D3).(F4)(H1)(G7)
W001° (D8)(H9).(B1)(C4)(B5)

Checksum for the digits you need is 50.

This cache is a small rectangular Tupperware container containing a logbook and pencil. Inside the container you will find the puzzle that you need to solve for the final cache in the series, the Coldpool Beck Cache (if you are doing the series this way). Please take only one copy of the puzzle so that others may also be able to complete the series. (I would appreciate it if someone could let me know if supplies of the puzzle are running out.)
