Geocache Description:

This is our first cache and should be an easy grab and go.

The cache is a small camo'd pill type container and is placed in honor of one of our first cache series in the area (Don't Fence Me In).

The owners have given permission for its placement because we are the owners. If you meet the dog, just say hi, he is friendly enough and hence the name of the cache. If he weren't fenced in he would be gone.

Congrats to Lifeguard 1 for the FTF. The cache is within White Oaks Park near the north end of the walking trail which is approximately 3.8 kilometres in length and extends from Jalna Blvd. in the north to near the 401 at Dingman Drive in the south. White Oaks Park is cared for by the city of London and the White Oaks Optimists. The park, straddling Bradley Avenue, contains three schools, tennis courts, basketball courts, baseball diamonds, soccer fields, a pool complex, wading pool, community centre, library and a toboggan hill. White Oaks Mall can be accessed from the park and the park can be accessed from Jalna Blvd, Bradley Avenue and 12 crescents.

The White Oaks subdivision and White Oaks Park and the walking trail were created in stages beginning about 1977.

At time of publication this trail only contains two other caches (Don't Fence Me In 5 and Oh Christmas Tree).
