Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a cemetary.  Please take care and respect their resting place during your visit. A brief history on Fairport Cemetery

We cleaned the area and checked coordinates. This is an easy park and grab


"The cemetery is located on Liverpool Road south in the Fairport area of Frenchman’s Bay. The Fairport Church was in a summer resort are and the residents started holding summer services in July 1920 until 1947, then year round weekly services were held under the auspices of Dunbarton United Church.

The church was torn down after the congregation amalgamated with the Dunbarton United Church congregation in 1975. The cemetery is now maintained by Dunbarton-Fairport United Church."

This cache contains the log and some swag.  Please bring your own pen.  Could be done at night, however caution is required as it backs on to residential backyards.  Beware of loud barking dogs.

No parking allowed on the street.  The closest parking is across the street at Holy Redeemer Catholic School.

After you've located the cache, take a stroll down at Millenium Waterfront and enjoy Pickering's Lakefront.  During the summer there are lots of activitieds that take place or enjoy the restaurants and shops.
