Update May 2014: Sadly my Grandfather (the namesake of this cache) passed away recently. However, instead of removing the cache (and it's sibling nearby) I have chosen to keep the cache in play as a small tribute to him and as a way of sharing the area that he spent his last years in with other members of the Geocaching community.
This cache is another tribute to my saddly ill grandfather. He use to live very near to this park (he now stays at one of the nearby nursing homes) and I can remember walking through here on various occasions with him many years ago, and I still visit here on occasions as it is only a short trip to where my grandmother still lives. This park is wonderfully kept by the local council, and offers a seat to sit and enjoy the breeze with parking available very close to GZ. (PLEASE DO NOT PARK ON UNDERWOOD DRIVE!)
The actual cache is very easy to find, just a small blackened conatiner, but be on the lookout for muggles as there is a high elderly population who seem to enjoy gardening quite a bit. As always happy hunting, and there is a Travel Bug that is already activated for the FTFer to move on.
Please Note: Your GPSr might be out because of the tree cover. Please refer to hint if you are having difficulty
Congratulations to ruffdawg for FTF. Took longer then I thought it would...
