SEVENTH IN SERIES

I've decided to "Log" my life in geocaches: a timeline, if you will. This themed series (called: of my life) will consist of 8 caches...and more as life goes by!
Activities Director (2009-2012)
The time came for me to delve full time into imaging school. No more bank! Oh the nursing home, what a great and terrible gig this was. For me, this is the most heart wrenching experience to date. I worked enough to pay my car bill and gas, etc. but I only worked 4 days a month! I truly enjoyed the complete change of pace and job from bank teller to running activities for the elderly. I became really close with others' grandparents yet they started to feel like my own. In my 3 years with Brandermill Woods, I think about 100 people passed away. I observed that the sick ones live longer than the healthier ones...like a very cruel joke. These people are in a nursing home and now they are my friends...so of course (still to this day) I refer to them as my "homies" - LOL!!!
