The first State Herbarium opened in 1929 and was located at S31° 5?.154' E 115° 5?.677' (WP1). It remained there until 1959.

WP 2: Department of Agriculture and Food. The State Herbarium moved to near this site in 1959 and remained here until 1970 when it moved a short distance to a purpose built facility. Here you will find information to help you find the next waypoint.

WP3: Old WA Herbarium. In 1970 the State Herbarium moved to a site easily visable from this spot and remained here until moving to its current location down the road at Technology Park in 2010. Here you will find an object with a metal tag on it. This tag has pole number written on it then what appears to be a serial number beginning with S followed by 6 digits.
