Geocache Description:

The first one opened in Camden New Jersey on June 6, 1933. It quickly became a national pastime for families. Sadly there are only around 400 of these left in our nation.

I was so excited to find this one and even though it's a little out of our way, it's well worth the drive. My husband and I remember these from our childhood and were pleased to be able to bring our grandchildren here so that they could have this experience. Our youngest grandson was more interested in watching the moon but that's ok. It's a bit of history that I hope will continue for future generations. 

This should be a quick park and grab. The owners of the property have given their permission so please be respectful of the area. CITO if needed.   Be aware of lots of muggles in the evening hours as prime "star" gazing begins every weekend at dusk from May-September. The cache is in an ammo can loaded with lots of goodies. There is an envelope in the cache for first to find. Get the Picture?
