Creighton Station is an amazing place of restoration of steam locomotives. The Garrett locomotive parked there was built in 1952 in Germany and shipped out to South Africa in three pieces. It is an enormous and incredible piece of engineering.
In July of each year several train trips are arranged from Creighton Station to Riverside Station some 25km down the line to view the amazing Aloes along the Ngwangwane River.
