CO's note: This is an ammo can. I wouldn't make you work this hard for a micro or a small :) I know the puzzle is hard, so I included pictures of GZ to aid in the search, and a coordinate checker to make sure you are heading in the right direction. If you solve the coordinates, this is great cache to get for the 4.5/4.5 Jasmer challenge.
An old legend around these parts tells the tale of an eccentric hermit, by the name of Roscoe Dorcett, that lived in the hills in Soddy Daisy who was paranoid of banks and the government. Ol Man Roscoe's life savings was kept in a collection of Mason jars around his property. Every one wondered how he got his fortune, but nobody knew for sure. Some speculated moonshining, others thought illegal chicken fighting.

One night some kids who knew of the hermit's money snuck onto his property and dug up a few of the jars. Roscoe told the police that he had $6,000 in just the three jars that the had been stolen. Even though the police caught the kids a few days later they had already spent all of his stolen money. In those days there was no way to get your money back, so the man was sunk. Infuriated, Roscoe gathered all his remaining glass jars and hid them elsewhere. Those that passed by his house counted at least 50 holes. It didn't take long for the people around to calculate that there had to be at least $94,000 still hold up some place else.
As gossip did back in the day, word spread. Then the tax man came to visit. Seems Ol Man Roscoe hadn't paid taxes in almost 35 years, and Uncle Sam wanted his "fair share" of the potential fortune that everyone thought laid buried somewhere beneath the hilly property. The auditor went through the hermit's finances and figured Roscoe owed the government a pretty penny. Upon hearing this, the old man went into a blind rage and killed the tax man on the spot. Shortly after, Johnny Law came and took Roscoe Dorcett away to jail.
Before the old man could be tried by a jury of his peers, he died of a stroke in the jailhouse. Since Roscoe had no known relatives (even though many people did come forward hoping to get a piece of his fortune) the goverment went in and cleaned the old man's belongings out of his old shack. They tore down the homestead and even dug up under the house hoping to get the money that Roscoe left behind.
The only thing that turned up were some large stones that were engraved with stange markings. Some said that these markings were made in exchange for Roscoe Dorcett's soul - the devil scratched into the walls of hell itself to hide the location of the hermit's fortune. Still others say they are just the random ramblings of an insane old man.
Regardless of the stones origin or the author of the text, Soddy Daisy had these monoliths on display for a short period. The local government had hoped that since Egypt had a stone tablet with ancient markings, they could get in on the action with one closer to home. Needless to say, their "Rosetta Stones" didn't catch on and were eventually lost to time. Recently photos of the stone tablets turned up in an old estate sale.
Do you have what it takes to decipher Old Man Roscoe's code and find his fortune?
