Located on the high plains of southeastern Union County, this cemetery began in 1907 when Mary Elizabeth Clayton Williams buried a grandson here. She, along with her sons, Eli Borden and William Calvin Clayton and families, homesteaded in this area.
In 1960, this cemetery land was deeded to the community by the H. E. George family.
This cache is dedicated to this family and other pioneers buried here that helped develope this area.
We solicite your support as a volunteer cacher to place a "Spirit" cache at or near a cemetery of your choosing.
