Welcome to Alstonville Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Griffo: Not happy with this one so I am archiving it. It did involve a walk on the edge of the garden and it looks like it has been removed.

Geocache Description:

Alstonville is a town located in northern New South Wales, Australia, part of the region known as the Northern Rivers. Alstonville is located on the Bruxner Highway between the town of Ballina and city of Lismore.

The Alstonville town gateway is now complete and was officially opened in May 2013. This gateways mark the entry to the picturesque towns of Alstonville and Wollongbar at each end of the bypass, and reflect the unique Indigenous and European heritage of the plateau. The gateway design, which includes landscape architecture, fencing and a variety of native plants, was finalised by Roads and Maritime Services with input from the community, Alstonville-Wollongbar Chamber of Commerce and Ballina Shire Council.
