Geocache Description:

The August Morning Commuters Club is designed to provide Virginia Peninsula caching commuters a way to grab event smileys during the month of August.  Today's topic? Benchmarking. 

I don't know about you guys, but certain of us AMCC members typically only find the benchmark and DNF the reference marks.  We kind of have that dilemma today - the paperwork shows two reference marks, but AMCC members who've scoped out the area report finding only reference mark 2, and not reference mark 1. Did a lane-widening project result in the demise of RM1? Perhaps a convening of the membership can help validate or dismiss the current findings.

Who: All geocachers are welcome members of the August Morning Commuters Club
When: Swing by the meet and greet anytime between 6:15 and 6:45 am.
What: Sign the log, which will be at the cache coordinates. If you like, take a quick walk to Hampton Station 534 and its references mark(s).

PS - While the cache D/T is 1/1, the terrain for the benchmark is 1.5 and not wheelchair friendly.

PPS - Hungry?  Perhaps this event has a hoppin' breakfast-affiliated restaurant nearby...
