Geocache Description:

Cache is designed to be accessed by boat from the Wolf River and is recommended only in the warmer months of the year.

My family was lucky enough to stay with some very kind friends who live near this spot.  They invited us up from Kansas City, MO for the week and it was the most enjoyable vacation we've had in a long time.  All 6 of us are cachers and while we definitely did some of that in the area we were most taken by the amazing fishing around here.  I caught my first Northern Pike and it was great fun reeling him in!  Its tradition for us to place or find a geocache to commemorate an event in our lives and since there weren't any near here I chose to place one.  Down the river a bit from my battle you will find this small lock in lock container.

The cache is certainly easiest from a boat but from satellite views it might be possible by land, just make sure you don't cross private property without permission.  Once you get to the cache you might find it hard to reach unless you have a monkey in your party.  Please secure the cache as found or better.  I've included some replacement zip ties to resecure the cache if needed and a pathtag from the Kansas City World Wide Flash Mob event that I co-hosted for the FTF.

My first Northern

Happy caching AND fishing everyone!
