The Galena Trail is a segment of the old CPR bed stretching from Three Forks to New Denver. However, the trail extends north toward Nakusp on the old Naskusp & Slocan Railway bed.
This section of the trail follows Slocan lake, with beautiful views and small driftwood beaches. It's perfect for walking and cycling, but motorized vehicles are allowed on the trail as well.
When smomofo placed his "Wragge View" cache here last year, he thought it would be a great trail on which to place more caches. And he was right!
This cache is a pop bottle blank on the highway side of the trail. No need to climb the rock (in fact, I recommend you don't - it hurts when you fall!).
