Geocache Description:

OLIVE ISLAND MARINA

Olive island marina is situated in the town of Sutomiscica on the Ugljan Island. Olive Island is a private, marina-only facility, located in the Sutomiscica bay, situated in the north-east part of the Ugljan Island, near the city of Preko. The patron saint of the town is St. Euphemia, to whom the church in town was dedicated. The baroque palace of the Latana family dating from the 17th century is also in the town. The marina has 200 sea berths. The marina offers direct private ferry to and from city of Zadar. Ugljan Island is only 20 minutes by car-ferry away from the bustling town of Zadar on the mainland.

Prístav (marína) Olive island je situovaná v mestečku Sutomišcica na ostrove Uglijan. Olive Island je súkromná marína, ktorá sa nachádza v severo-východnej časti ostrova Ugljan, v blízkosti mesta Preko. Patrónom mesta je Sv Eufémia, ktorej bol zasvätený aj kostol v meste. Nachádza sa tu aj barokový palác rodiny Latana, ktorý pochádza zo 17. storočia., Marina má 200 kotvísk pre lode. Ponúka dopravu trajektom do mesta Zadar na pevnine. Ostrov Ugljan je vzdialený od rušného mesta Zadar na pevnine iba 20 minút plavby autotrajektom.
